Thames Valley Park is set to welcome back one of its most exciting community events this spring, as UK Bungee Club returns to deliver a 160ft crane bungee jump but this time with a charitable focus.

Taking place on Wednesday 18th March 2026, the event marks the second time a bungee jump has been hosted at the park following the success of last year’s experience. For 2026, the event introduces a new dimension, giving participants the opportunity to support a local charity while taking on the adrenaline-filled challenge.

Usually available only at a limited number of specialist locations across the UK, the one-day event will once again transform the EV car park into a professionally operated jump site, exclusively for Thames Valley Park occupiers.

Participants will leap from a 160ft crane under the supervision of trained UK Bungee professionals, with all equipment and safety procedures provided. Each jumper will receive a full safety briefing before their scheduled jump time, ensuring the experience is both thrilling and safely managed.

Building on Last Year’s Success

Following strong interest and positive feedback from last year’s inaugural jump, the return of the event reflects the growing appetite for unique wellbeing and community experiences at Thames Valley Park. The event offers occupiers a chance to challenge themselves, connect with colleagues across the park, and create a memorable shared experience.

Jumpers are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes before their allocated time to complete check-in and safety requirements. Participation is open to adults aged 18 and over, with safety restrictions in place including a maximum weight of 120kg and specific harness size requirements. All participants must review the health and safety guidance in advance and sign a waiver on the day.

Jumping for a Cause

For the first time, participants are also encouraged on a completely optional basis to support local charity Building for the Future.

This summer, the charity will open Our House, a fully accessible play and enterprise centre at Thames Valley Park. The facility will provide a safe, inclusive environment where disabled children and young adults can play, learn, socialise and develop essential life skills.

Building for the Future’s mission is to enable the disabled community across Berkshire to thrive by providing specialist facilities, support services and tailored programmes. Its extended initiative, Building for the Future Plus, supports young adults after leaving education through opportunities such as workplace experiences, employment pathways, social activities and personal development.

Funds raised through the event will go towards purchasing and installing specialist accessible play equipment within the new centre, helping ensure the space meets a wide range of needs.
