As International Day of Clean Air approaches on September 7th, we at Thames Valley Park (TVP) are excited to share how our commitment to clean air and green spaces is making a real difference.

At TVP, we take pride in having some of the cleanest air around. In fact, our air quality is notably better—by about 12.28%—compared to nearby areas. This is a big deal, especially when you consider that in some urban areas, pollution levels are a staggering 235% higher than ours. Good air quality isn’t just a nice perk; it’s crucial for our health and wellbeing. Poor air quality is linked to serious health issues like respiratory problems, heart disease, and even cognitive decline.

Our dedication to green spaces is equally important. TVP boasts a higher Tree Equity score than many other locations, meaning we have more trees enhancing our environment. These trees do more than look pretty—they provide natural shade, improve air quality, and support a healthier ecosystem. They also create a pleasant and calming atmosphere for everyone here.

The positive impact of our clean air and green spaces goes beyond just making our workplace a better place to be. By maintaining high air quality and increasing our greenery, we’re helping to protect against the health risks associated with pollution. This aligns with our goal of not just creating a great work environment but also setting a standard for what a healthy, sustainable workplace should be.
