At Thames Valley Park, we’re always looking for ways to create a more welcoming, vibrant environment for everyone who visits or works here. We’re excited to announce our latest initiative—a stunning new mural by renowned street artist Captain Kris, which aims to transform the visitor experience at TVP.
This dynamic mural, which is still in progress, will eventually stretch across the underpass and flow onto the shipping containers, bringing bold colours, abstract shapes, and natural elements together to brighten the entire space. Inspired by the natural beauty and activities surrounding TVP, the artwork will reflect the essence of the park while offering a friendly and uplifting atmosphere as soon as you arrive.
Originally from New Zealand and now based in London, Captain Kris is known for his large-scale murals that resonate with local communities. His expertise in street art, combined with his use of clean lines, bold colour schemes, and imaginative designs, make his work instantly recognisable. Having completed numerous large projects around the world, Captain Kris brings a wealth of experience in creating spaces that are not only visually striking but also welcoming and engaging for diverse audiences.
We believe that first impressions are crucial. By working with Captain Kris, we aim to make the park a place that feels both welcoming and inspiring from the moment people arrive. The mural’s bright colours and natural motifs will mirror the park’s outdoor spaces, enhancing the feeling of connection with nature, and creating a sense of warmth and positivity for both visitors and occupiers.
The final reveal of the completed mural is just around the corner, with the work scheduled to be finished next week. We’re excited to share the end result with our community and look forward to seeing how this new addition enhances the park’s character and appeal.
