Bike Week is a great opportunity to celebrate the social, health and environmental benefits of cycling! Cycling improves physical and mental health, reduces pollution and congestion, and makes our communities cleaner, greener and more liveable. To celebrate, we at TVP, we have a range of activities you can get involved in: Tuesday, 11 June will see the following activities take place next to the Food Market between David Lloyd and the Computercenter: Dr Bike – Dr Bike is our own mechanic who visits TVP for a day to give free maintenance checks on your bike. Book your 20 minute maintenance check on Tuesday, 11 June between 9am – 4pm. The maintenance check will be carried out while you are at work. AW Cycles – AW Cycles are a Reading-based cycle company offering E-Bikes, mountain bikes, leisure bikes and bikes for commuters. Come and visit them from 10am – 4pm to view their range of bikes and bike accessories. My Journey – Join in the cycling fun by pedalling on our smoothie bike! Provided by Wokingham Borough Council, these smoothie bikes will make a great addition to the TVP Street Food Market! Competition Time –  In conjunction with ‘Love to Ride’, we are giving away four prizes. To be in with the chance of winning, all journeys must be logged here. x2 prizes to giveaway for one male and one female that cycle the most to/from work from the 10 – 16 June. x2 prizes to giveaway for one male and one female in a random prize draw. To qualify for the random prize draw, you must log one commute on ‘Love to Ride’.
